The European Union is set to eliminate the €150 duty-free threshold for online purchases from non-EU countries, particularly targeting Chinese retailers like Temu and Shein. This move aims to address the surge of low-cost, potentially substandard goods flooding the EU market, which has seen over 2.3 billion items imported under this threshold last year alone. Let’s put this nonsense into perspective.
